"The end of things is not a moral act"

Just finished reading The More I Owe You yesterday. A few days before that, Hating Olivia: A Love Story. A few days before that The Rule of Four. A few days before that Why Marriage Matters: America, Equality and Gay People's Right to Marry. Now am about to begin reading Thereafter Johnnie. And after that pretty much the fiction I brought back from the States is done. Then there's Lucy's Legacy and Culture and Commitment to dig into - all I have is time these days :) The end of things is not a moral act, true, Elizabeth Bishop, but damn it feels like that.
